Careers at Source Environmental Sciences Introduction Source Environmental is a mid-sized professional environmental engineering and consulting firm. The majority of our work involves preparation of environmental reports and studies such as air, water, and waste permit applications, air emissions inventories, source reduction and waste minimization plans, chemical spill and emergency response plans, storm water management plans, etc. Our clients include chemical plants, marine terminals, refineries, coating and material handling facilities, food processing plants and a multitude of manufacturing facilities of all types. We are well known in Texas for providing very high quality environmental services at reasonable prices. Project Work We perform work for a very large number of clients. For example, during the year 2007, we performed work for 149 separate clients with facilities at approximately 200 different locations, mainly in Texas. Because of the variety of work performed and the number of clients, our employees must handle a wide range of environmental issues and be able to master project management skills. Successful employees quickly learn how to prepare and present proposals, perform technical analyses, write complex reports, and coordinate project efforts with responsible environmental agencies and with our clients. Office Location Our office is located near the Houston Galleria, one of the most desirable areas of the city. Nearby are many major corporate headquarters, condos, apartments, shops, and restaurants.
